Our Story

The National Women's Collaborative (NWC) began as a safe space for women to convene, share ideas and experiences, access job resources, and co-create opportunities. In February 2020, we secured a beautiful office space in Washington, D.C. on L Street to meet all the Collaborative's working and networking needs. As the pandemic worsened, D.C. began to shut down, including our building. Like so many organizations, NWC pivoted to working and meeting virtually.

We started a Facebook Group and in a few short months grew to an online community of over 1000 members. These women - our collaborators - share ideas and information in the group and help each other solve problems or capitalize on opportunities. Thought leaders in our group offer their advice and services in specific areas of interest to our members. It is the ideal "give and get" exchange. Today, we have 2600 members worldwide.

Our Women's Wednesday series is a free, monthly online event that offers our members informative, educational, and motivational tools to further enhance their professional and personal lives.
